Miguel Bolívar

Miguel Bolívar serves as Director of Special Projects, where he leads specialized, high-complexity engagements drawing on more than 30 years of experience across the U.S. military, law enforcement, intelligence, and special operations communities. A U.S. Army combat veteran, field grade officer, and counterintelligence special agent, he brings proven leadership of cross-functional, interagency, and multinational operations in high-risk environments.

Over the course of his military and intelligence career, Miguel held a series of senior counterintelligence and human intelligence (HUMINT) roles within U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM), where he served as a subject matter expert on Latin America with a particular focus on Colombia and the Andean Ridge. He deployed to Lima, Peru, as a special operations forward intelligence officer coordinating partner-nation intelligence training, and to Baghdad, Iraq, as the officer in charge of a HUMINT element conducting military source operations. Earlier in his career, he provided analytical and linguistic support to the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in Miami, supporting operations against major narcotics and transnational criminal organizations.

Miguel is a recognized subject matter expert in combating terrorist organizations and organized crime networks across Latin America and the Middle East, with deep knowledge of intelligence, security, investigations, analysis, and geopolitics. He holds a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and business administration and a graduate certificate in Latin American and Caribbean Studies from Florida International University, complemented by extensive specialized intelligence and investigative training. A certified military linguist, he is proficient in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, and his service has been recognized with numerous military and federal awards, including the U.S. Army Bronze Star Medal and commendations from U.S. Customs, the DEA, and the FBI.

He also serves as Chief Executive Officer of The Duality Alliance, a service-disabled veteran–owned firm operating in the defense, security, and intelligence sectors, maintaining an extensive network of government, military, and private-sector relationships across the Americas and the Middle East.
