Lutalo Muhummud
Lutalo Muhummud serves as Associate Partner for East Africa, where he supports clients operating in complex and high-risk environments throughout the region. He brings more than 25 years of international experience in executive protection, security operations, tactical training, and crisis management across Africa, the Middle East, and the Caribbean.
From 2004 to 2024, Lutalo served with the United Nations Security System in a series of senior operational and leadership roles, leading close protection teams for senior UN officials and ambassadors in Somalia, Sudan, Iraq, Lebanon, Israel, and the Palestinian Territories. Throughout his UN career, he was recognized as a specialist in VIP protection, security operations management, firearms instruction, defensive tactics, and hand-to-hand combat training.
Earlier in his career, he served as a Risk Management Agent with Public Safety International, conducting investigations and specialized security operations for Lloyd's of London underwriters and law enforcement agencies, and trained federal, state, municipal, and international law enforcement personnel, as well as military units, in defensive tactics and operational security. He previously held the role of Sergeant-at-Arms for the City of Miami Commission, providing protective services to the Mayor of Miami, and served in the Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force, including assignments with the Special Forces Unit and the Presidential Honor Guard, from which he received an honorable discharge.
As Associate Partner for East Africa, Lutalo brings extensive expertise in security risk management, executive protection, tactical training, and operational leadership to clients across the region.
